01 in ’12: Doorways

Before I officially finish my first book in 2012 (and take down my 2011 Readings page), I wanted to transfer all the books that I’ve read in an actual post. I considered putting in an entry enumerating my resolutions but finally decided against it. I figured that when it comes to most of the things I really decide on doing, it barely actually happens on New Year (which I don’t even really celebrate even).

On a side note, I haven’t opened any of my christmas gifts yet. The holidays were pretty quiet this year (and when I say quiet, I actually mean “dead”) – I spent both Christmas and New Year at home, having Brian with me in the mornings. It was a nice change of pace, I have to admit. Anyway, here are my doorways to other worlds in 2011:

I’m currently reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins – after two tries of reading it in the past, I finally got into it. Thanks to my nieces Moira and Kalyx for making me want to try reading it one more time. Apparently, the third time’s the charm ü

Here’s to a roller coaster ride in 2012.

Ciao Bella!
